We have another activity in Jackson Hole for you! For the first time ever, Snow King Mountain will be hosting Snocross in Jackson Hole at the base of the mountain December 8 & 9. This is an exciting development for the town as it puts us on center stage for yet another snow-sport!

The specific event will be held on the baseball field at the base of the mountain on Friday and Saturday night. This is round 3 & 4 of the AMSOIL Championship Snocross held by ISOC (International Series of Champions). Prior to this event, competitors were in Duluth, MN and will head to Shakoppe, MN after the Jackson Hole snocross event. The grand finale will be held in Lake Geneva, WI in March.

 

So what is snocross, you ask? Snocross is snowmobiling on a race course. Several competitors try to out run each other on steep corners, jumps, and snow. This will truly prove to be an exciting show, much like our Snow King Hill Climb Championships! Furthermore, the event will be broadcasted by CBS Sports and Live Stream for all the world to see!
